Islamabad, December 29, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan and Kazakhstan have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in combating drug trafficking. The understanding came at a meeting between Minister for Narcotics Control, Brig (R) Ijaz Ahmad Shah and Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Kistafin in Islamabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Narcotics Control said first agreement between the two countries was signed in 1995 and some amendments proposed by Pakistan are likely to be signed very soon. He said we want to improve international cooperation against drug trafficking.
