Islamabad, December 28, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan and Kazakhstan have agreed to enhance bilateral relations to ensure effective combating of drugs. Talking to Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Kistafin in Islamabad, Federal Minister for Narcotics Control, Brig (R) Ijaz Ahmad Shah said, first agreement between the two countries was signed in 1995 and some amendments proposed by Pakistan are likely to be signed very soon. He said we want to improve international cooperation to take steps in drug reduction. Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Kistafin said his country will play a role in countering drug trafficking.
