Islamabad: Pakistan has officially commenced the export of vehicles and automotive spare parts, marking a significant step in the expansion of its automotive sector into the global market.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this new export venture is supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). The announcement was made during an event in Karachi, which saw the participation of the Minister for Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, among other dignitaries. Indus Motor Company, a leading player in the industry, disclosed its plans to export various models of vehicles and their components.
Minister Hussain highlighted that the government, along with the SIFC, has implemented policies aimed at bolstering the automotive sector by promoting the export of locally manufactured vehicles and spare parts.
