Ottawa: The Pakistan High Commission participated in the “2026 Y Embassy Chef Showcase” organized by the YMCA in Ottawa, featuring chefs from 15 diplomatic missions who served their national dishes in a friendly culinary competition. The event was designed to foster cultural understanding through the universal language of food.
According to Press Information Department, the High Commission presented a selection of traditional Pakistani dishes that emphasized the country’s culinary heritage. Attendees appreciated the distinct flavors and aromatic spices that characterized the cuisine, which underscored the cultural authenticity of the offerings.
The Embassy Chef Showcase, an annual event, provided a platform for promoting cultural exchange as visitors sampled a diverse array of international cuisines.
