Pakistan High Commission and Sub-Missions in the UK to Close for Eid Milad Un Nabi

London: The High Commission for Pakistan in London along with its Sub-Missions in Birmingham, Bradford, Glasgow, and Manchester will be closed on Tuesday, 19th October 2021, in observance of Eid Milad Un Nabi, which marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.

According to High Commission for Pakistan – United Kingdom, the closure is to allow staff and community members to partake in the religious festivities associated with Eid Milad Un Nabi. The High Commission has also advised that community members who require consular assistance for emergencies on this day should use the emergency contact numbers provided for the Pakistan High Commission in London and the respective Consulates. The annual observance of Eid Milad Un Nabi is one of the recognized public holidays in many Muslim-majority countries, including Pakistan.
