Pakistan Heading Towards Development After Economic Stability: FM


Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has announced that Pakistan is on a path to development following a period of economic stabilization. In a recent statement, the minister highlighted the successful resolution of discussions with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), expressing optimism for the country’s economic future.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Aurangzeb credited the resolution of issues with the IMF to the efforts of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s team, the IMF negotiating team, and other relevant institutions. He emphasized that these negotiations are expected to be finalized at the IMF board meeting scheduled for later this month.



The Finance Minister also pointed out that the anticipated reduction in the policy rate is likely to boost investment and business activities across Pakistan. Furthermore, he noted that an increase in economic activities is expected to create new job opportunities, contributing to overall national development.
