Pakistan Government Vows to Foster Investment-Friendly Environment, Says Commerce Minister Gohar

Islamabad, Caretaker Minister for Commerce and Industry Gohar Ejaz has declared the government’s dedication to creating an environment conducive to investment and innovation, along with streamlining trade processes in Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ejaz made these remarks at an Investment and Climate Summit organized by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Islamabad. He acknowledged the role of USAID as a vital partner in supporting Pakistan’s development sector, expressing gratitude for their assistance.

USAID Mission Director Kate Somvongsiri also spoke at the summit, highlighting the United States’ firm commitment to aiding Pakistan’s economic growth and development. This summit represents a significant step in strengthening the economic relationship between Pakistan and the United States, focusing on investment and climate initiatives.
