Pakistan Government Allocates Funds for Climate Mitigation, Targets E-bikes and Energy Efficient Fans


Islamabad, In a recent announcement, the Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb outlined the government’s new initiatives aimed at bolstering climate mitigation efforts, including significant funding for environmentally friendly technologies.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Pakistan Climate Change Authority will be made operational as part of these initiatives. The government has committed four billion rupees to support the adoption of E-bikes and an additional two billion rupees to promote the use of energy-efficient fans. These measures are designed to reduce the environmental impact and foster sustainable development within the country.
