Pakistan Forms Committee to Support Palestinians under Mushaal Hussein Mullick’s Leadership


Islamabad, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, chaired a high-level meeting to discuss the human rights situation in Palestine and explore ways to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians. The meeting, which included prominent diplomats and journalists, focused on the current humanitarian crisis in Palestine.



According to Press Information Department, the meeting included South African High Commissioner to Pakistan H.E. Mthuthuzel Madikiza, Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan H.E Ahmed Jawad Rabei, and representatives from various media and academic institutions. During this gathering, Mushaal Hussein Mullick announced the formation of the Palestinian Consultative Committee, dedicated to finding ways to support Palestinians under Israeli occupation.



Mullick highlighted the alarming human rights violations in Palestine, citing the loss of over 25,000 lives, injuries to 61,000 people, the displacement of hundreds of thousands, and the destruction of 70,000 buildings in recent months. She praised South Africa’s efforts to address these issues at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and pledged Pakistan’s support for these initiatives.



The Special Assistant emphasized the need for global unity in addressing the Palestinian crisis, highlighting the severe impact of Israel’s blockade on Gaza, including shortages of essential items like food and medicine. She also drew parallels between the struggles in Palestine and the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), calling for collaboration and cooperation between the people of these regions.
