Islamabad, November 12, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan has expressed its deep concern over the recent deployment of additional 5500 Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Foreign Office Spokesperson, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad in a statement said that Indian forces had unleashed unimaginable brutalities on Kashmiris, including inter-alia use of pellet guns, extrajudicial killings in ‘fake encounters’, enforced disappearances, arbitrary detentions, torture and custodial deaths.
He said, Pakistan has already shared with international community a comprehensive dossier documenting Indian state terrorism, widespread violations of human rights, war crimes and crimes against humanity in IIOJK.
He said, Pakistan once again calls upon India to halt its state terrorism in the occupied territory, immediately cease human rights violations, lift the inhuman military siege and let the people of Kashmir exercise their right to self-determination as enshrined in the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
