Pakistan Envoy Engages in Discussions on Middle East and Afghanistan at the United Nations


New York: Pakistan’s Alternate Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar, held discussions with the United Nations Assistant Secretary-General Khaled Khiari, focusing on pressing issues relating to the Middle East and Afghanistan.



According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting took place in New York, where both officials exchanged views on significant topics currently on the agenda of the United Nations Security Council. The discussions highlighted the ongoing challenges in the Middle East and Afghanistan, as well as the role of the United Nations in addressing these issues.



The exchange underscored the importance of international cooperation in tackling complex geopolitical dynamics and maintaining regional stability.
