Islamabad: Pakistan is marking the World Day for Safety and Health at Work by renewing its commitment to preventing occupational accidents and diseases, emphasizing the importance of worker well-being across all sectors.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in a message released by the Press Information Department, highlighted the theme of this year’s observance, “Revolutionizing Health and Safety: The Role of AI and Digitalization at Work.” He urged reflection on the responsibilities and opportunities that come with technological progress.
The Prime Minister pointed out that as workplaces in Pakistan and globally adopt digital systems, it is crucial to ensure these innovations improve the safety and dignity of workers.
