Beijing: The Pakistan Embassy in China recently organized a sesame business conference, focusing on the transformation of sesame from a minor to a major cash crop, with the goal of enhancing sesame exports and encouraging Chinese investment in this sector.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the conference facilitated productive discussions between Pakistani and Chinese enterprises about the future of sesame cultivation. This initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen bilateral agricultural cooperation and maximize the economic benefits of the sesame industry for Pakistan. The event highlighted the growing importance of sesame in Pakistan’s agricultural exports and aimed to forge stronger trade links between the two countries.
