Pakistan Embassy in Berlin to Close for Ashura Observance

Berlin: The Embassy of Pakistan in Berlin has announced it will close its doors on July 16 and 17, 2024, in observance of Ashura, which marks the 9th and 10th of Muharram in the Islamic calendar.

According to Embassy of Pakistan – Berlin, the closure is in respect of the religious observance that commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussain, a central figure in Islamic history. The embassy has also provided contact information for consular emergencies, ensuring that necessary services remain accessible to Pakistani nationals during the closure.
