Pakistan Election Commission Conducts Successful Mock Exercise of EMS


Karachi, The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has successfully carried out a mock exercise of its Election Management System (EMS), marking a significant step towards the modernization and efficiency of its electoral processes.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, a spokesperson for the Election Commission announced that offices of Returning Officers at 859 locations nationwide participated in the exercise. The primary aim of the EMS is to streamline the compilation and tabulation of results at the returning officer level, a crucial aspect of ensuring timely and accurate election outcomes.



During the mock exercise, all the returning officers were able to complete the compilation and tabulation of results successfully. This exercise is a part of the Election Commission’s ongoing efforts to enhance the integrity and effectiveness of the electoral system in Pakistan.



The successful completion of this mock exercise with the EMS highlights the Election Commission’s commitment to adopting technological solutions to improve electoral processes.
