Pakistan Denounces Israeli Military Actions in Lebanon, Calls for UN Intervention

Islamabad: Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation of what it describes as Israel’s escalating military activities in the Middle East, particularly its recent operations in Lebanon. The Pakistani government criticized these actions for violating international law and undermining regional stability.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, over the past several days, Israeli forces have intensified attacks on Lebanese civilian areas, an approach that Pakistan deems an unacceptable breach of Lebanon’s sovereignty. The situation worsened with the assassination of the Secretary General of Hezbollah, an act that Pakistan views as a significant escalation in an already tense region.

The statement reiterated Pakistan’s solidarity with Lebanon, extending condolences to the families affected by the violence and to the Lebanese people. Islamabad is calling on the United Nations Security Council to take decisive action to curb Israeli military actions and to work towards restoring peace in the Middle East.
