Islamabad: Pakistan has officially condemned what it describes as Israel’s severe military aggression against Lebanon, which reportedly resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians. The incident has sparked significant international concern and drawn criticism from various nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Foreign Office released a statement vehemently opposing the actions taken by Israel. The statement criticized the military strikes as not only a severe infringement of the United Nations Charter but also of international law. It highlighted the situation as a dangerous escalation that jeopardizes peace and stability in a region already known for its volatility.

Furthermore, Pakistan reiterated its unwavering support for Lebanon, emphasizing its commitment to Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The statement expressed solidarity with the Lebanese people, advocating for their right to live in a secure and peaceful environment.

The Foreign Office also urged the international community to respond promptly and decisively. It called for actions to hold Israel accountable for what it termed as alarming adventurism and acts of aggression that amount to genocide in the region.
