Pakistan Denounces Israeli Actions in the Middle East, Calls for Restraint

Islamabad: Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation of what it describes as escalating Israeli adventurism in the Middle East, particularly citing recent actions in Lebanon. The Foreign Office articulated serious concerns over Israel’s continued assaults on civilian areas and its blatant disregard for international norms, which it believes are exacerbating regional instability.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the statement from Islamabad pointed to specific incidents of sovereignty violations over the past several days, where Israeli forces have been accused of aggressively targeting Lebanese civilian centers. The Foreign Office also expressed its condolences to the families affected by these actions and affirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the people of Lebanon.

The statement highlighted a significant recent incident—the killing of the Secretary General of Hezbollah—as a major provocation that risks further escalation of tensions in the area. Pakistan is calling on the United Nations Security Council to intervene and compel Israel to adhere to international law and work towards restoring peace in the region.
