Pakistan Denounces Custodial Killings of Three Civilians in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir

Karachi, Pakistan has unequivocally condemned the custodial killing of three Kashmiri civilians in the Poonch district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K). The Foreign Office of Pakistan, in a statement released today, has accused the Indian occupation army of torturing the civilians to death, an act that has sparked outrage and brought attention to the ongoing conflict in the region.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Foreign Office referred to a disturbing video clip circulating on social media, purportedly showing Indian personnel mistreating the three men by stripping them and applying chili powder. This incident has been cited as further evidence of what Pakistan describes as India’s relentless state-sponsored terrorism in IIOJ&K.

The statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Office calls for the perpetrators of these custodial killings to be held accountable. It also asserts that India’s occupation is the primary cause of major issues in the region. Furthermore, the Foreign Office reaffirmed the right of the Kashmiri people to self-determination, as recognized by relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

This condemnation by Pakistan adds to the long-standing tensions and disputes between the two countries over the Kashmir region, highlighting the continuing human rights concerns and the need for resolution in IIOJ&K.
