Pakistan Denounces Al-Aqsa Mosque Incident, Calls for Global Action

Islamabad: Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation of the recent storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing the event as an escalation of Israeli actions that it says violate international laws and the sanctity of the holy site.

According to a statement from Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, the incidents at multiple entrances of the mosque represent a direct assault on the site’s revered status. The statement emphasized that these actions are a breach of international law and called for an immediate halt.

The spokesperson urged the international community to take swift and effective measures to prevent further actions of this nature. He stressed the need for accountability for Israeli forces, which he accused of systematic violations.

In addition, Pakistan highlighted the importance of maintaining humanitarian access to millions in Gaza. The statement called for preserving the sanctity and historical and legal status of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This statement from Pakistan aligns with its consistent stance on issues concerning Al-Aqsa Mosque and the broader Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
