Pakistan Delivers Second Aid Shipment to Myanmar Earthquake Victims

Islamabad: Pakistan has delivered its second shipment of emergency relief aid to Myanmar, consisting of 35 tons of humanitarian supplies for those affected by a recent earthquake. This consignment brings the total assistance sent by Pakistan to 70 tons.

The latest delivery was handed over at Yangon International Airport, reflecting Pakistan’s ongoing support for Myanmar during this crisis. The aid was coordinated by Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) following directives from the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The handover was attended by Imran Haider, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Myanmar, alongside diplomats from the Pakistan Embassy. Officials from Myanmar, including the Chief Minister of the Yangon Region and the Director General of Training from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were present to receive the supplies.

Pakistan’s government and its NDMA continue to demonstrate their commitment to assisting those affected by the earthquake in Myanmar.
