ISLAMABAD, Pakistan has dispatched a second consignment of 90 tons of humanitarian aid to support the people of Gaza, which has arrived at El-Arish International Airport in Egypt.
According to a news release, the shipment, directed by Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, includes a variety of critical supplies such as 40 tons of food packs, three tons of food bags, 10.8 tons of medicines, and 26 tons of hygiene and baby kits. The aid reflects Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to providing relief to the Palestinian people amidst the current crisis.
This humanitarian assistance was handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, which is responsible for delivering the supplies to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Gaza. This consignment follows a previous shipment of 81 tons of medical and humanitarian aid that Pakistan sent last month, also delivered via El-Arish International Airport.
The continued support from Pakistan comes as a part of its efforts to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza who are facing hardships due to the recent escalations in the region.
