Pakistan Day Celebrated with Patriotic Fervor at Washington D.C. Embassy


Washington D.C., The Embassy of Pakistan in Washington D.C. marked the 84th National Day of Pakistan with a vibrant and patriotic flag-hoisting ceremony, led by Ambassador Masood Khan. The ceremony was a display of unity and national pride, with the national anthem resonating and special messages from Pakistan’s President and Prime Minister shared with those in attendance.



According to Embassy of Pakistan – Washington D.C, the event was not just a formal commemoration but also a moment to reflect on the values and vision that have guided Pakistan since its inception. Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Naveed Safdar Bukhari, conveying the President’s message, extended heartfelt greetings and an invitation for the nation to contribute to the nation-building process with dedication and empathy.



Ambassador Masood Khan, reading Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s message, emphasized the need for the Pakistani community to embody the ideals of the founding fathers, striving towards making Pakistan a beacon of peace, progress, and stability.



The celebrations drew a significant number of attendees, including dignitaries from the diplomatic and defense sectors, notable members of the Pakistani community, and media representatives, showcasing the close-knit and spirited Pakistani diaspora in the United States. The event highlighted the deep-rooted patriotism among Pakistanis living abroad and their commitment to the prosperity and well-being of their homeland.
