Islamabad: Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation of Israel’s ongoing military activities in Gaza, citing significant concerns over humanitarian impacts and regional stability.
The Foreign Office of Pakistan, through a statement released on Tuesday, expressed grave concern over what it described as continued Israeli aggression. The statement highlighted the resulting fatalities among Palestinians and accused Israel of deliberately targeting essential infrastructure, including hospitals.
Pakistan’s statement also criticized the Israeli government’s expansion of ground operations and its declared intention to exert control over the entire region of Gaza. Such actions, according to the Foreign Office, threaten peace efforts and regional stability.
The Pakistani authorities further accused Israel of obstructing the delivery of critical humanitarian aid to millions in need, equating this with the imposition of collective punishment on Gaza’s population.
These developments come amid heightened tensions and ongoing international debate over the situation in Gaza, with Pakistan calling for renewed efforts towards peace and stability in the region.
