Pakistan Counters Indian Claims with Journalists’ Tour in Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: Security sources have revealed that Pakistan has organized a media visit for both national and international journalists to several locations in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. This move aims to counter recent narratives presented by Indian media.

The tour was arranged in response to reports from Indian outlets, which suggested that alleged militants had been relocated from areas targeted by Indian forces. Specifically, India Today had claimed that supposed terrorists were transferred from Kel, Dudhnial, Athmuqam, Jawar, Lipa, Forward Kahuta, Kotli, Chaman Kot, and Jan Kot.

Pakistan’s decision to organize this media visit seeks to refute the claims made by India Today, which suggested that Indian forces might attempt to create a false narrative using these locations. The Pakistani government has strongly denied these allegations and intends to expose what they describe as baseless propaganda through this initiative.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting stated that the media tour is part of Pakistan’s efforts to present an accurate picture of the situation in these areas and to challenge the assertions made by Indian media outlets.
