Islamabad, the repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, particularly Afghan citizens, back to their homeland is ongoing in a dignified and safe manner. This process is a part of Pakistan’s efforts to address the challenge of illegal immigration in the country.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, a total of 2,473 illegal Afghan nationals were repatriated yesterday. To date, the total number of illegal Afghans who have been sent back to Afghanistan has reached 416,925. This repatriation process underscores Pakistan’s commitment to managing its borders and immigration in accordance with international standards and human rights considerations.
