Islamabad, The ongoing repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, predominantly from Afghanistan, is proceeding in a dignified and safe manner, with a significant number of Afghans returning to their homeland.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, yesterday saw the return of 2,023 illegal Afghan nationals to Afghanistan. This recent movement is part of a larger ongoing effort, which has so far resulted in the repatriation of 426,865 illegal Afghan nationals.
The process, being carried out in accordance with international standards of dignity and safety, aims to ensure a smooth transition for the repatriated individuals. This initiative reflects Pakistan’s commitment to resolving the issue of illegal immigration while maintaining humanitarian principles.
