Karachi, Aneeq Ahmed, the Caretaker Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, has emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring equal rights for followers of all faiths, underscoring the nation’s peace-loving ethos.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a media interaction following his visits to various churches and temples in Karachi, Minister Ahmed highlighted the government’s dedication to fostering a message of love and humanity, in line with the teachings of the nation’s predominant religion.
His visit, which included stops at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Church, Holy Trinity Church, Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar, and Swami Narain Mandir, was a gesture to reinforce the principle of religious harmony and inclusivity in Pakistan. This outreach demonstrates the government’s ongoing efforts to promote interfaith dialogue and respect for diverse religious traditions within the country.
