Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has affirmed Pakistan’s dedication to deepening its ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia across multiple sectors, including economy, trade, defense, culture, education, and people-to-people relations. This commitment was voiced during the National Day Reception of Saudi Arabia, held in Islamabad to commemorate the 94th Anniversary of the Kingdom’s National Day.
According to Press Information Department, the President extended his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, and the people of Saudi Arabia on their National Day. The event saw attendance from federal ministers, diplomats, dignitaries, and both civil and military officers.
President Zardari lauded the significant advancements made by Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, noting the bold initiatives that are driving the Kingdom towards further progress and prosperity. He expressed his optimism about the future of the bilateral relationship, emphasizing ongoing support and collaboration between the two nations.
Furthermore, President Zardari acknowledged the contributions of nearly 2.7 million Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia, who play a vital role in the Kingdom’s socio-economic development.
