Islamabad, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring the comprehensive execution of the Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements brokered during his latest visit to China, expressing optimism about bolstering the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
According to a news release by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, in Islamabad, PM Kakar conveyed his confidence in these agreements ushering in a fresh and enhanced phase for CPEC. The Prime Minister praised China’s Belt and Road Initiative, describing it as a cornerstone for the holistic growth and prosperity of the entire region.
Highlighting the deep-rooted bonds between the two nations, PM Kakar remarked that the kinship shared by China and Pakistan stands tall like mountains and runs profound like the ocean’s depths. He went on to say that the populace of both nations is already reaping the benefits of CPEC’s outcomes.
In response, Ambassador Jiang Zaidong reaffirmed China’s unwavering support, assuring Pakistan of its dedication towards its development and economic fortification.
