Pakistan Coast Guard Seizes Smuggled Goods Worth Billions in Balochistan

Karachi, The Pakistan Coast Guard has intensified its operations against smuggling activities in collaboration with other relevant authorities, aiming to eradicate the smuggling menace from the country. In a series of recent actions, substantial seizures were made in the Jiwani and Hub areas of Balochistan, capturing a wide range of smuggled goods.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the operations resulted in the recovery of drugs, oil, and daily use items worth billions of rupees. The seized goods include 49 bags of dairy products, 159 cartons and 87 bags of various daily necessities, 131 bags of Iranian plastic, and 2,160 liters of cooking oil, alongside hundreds of tons of other items.

These efforts by the Pakistan Coast Guard highlight the country’s commitment to combating illegal trade activities and ensuring economic security. The operation not only disrupts smuggling networks but also protects local industries and contributes to the national economy by preventing the loss of revenues.
