Pakistan Celebrates Independence Day, Marks Triumph In Maarka-e-Haq


Islamabad: Pakistan commemorated its Independence Day with celebrations also marking a victory in Maarka-e-Haq against India, a testament to the nation’s strength against Indian hostility. Ambassador Ubaid-ur-Rehman Nizamani, addressing a flag-hoisting ceremony at the Pakistani embassy in Kabul, affirmed the country’s commitment to defending its borders and ideology.



Ambassador Nizamani honored the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the sacrifices made during the independence struggle. He praised the armed forces for protecting the nation’s liberties. The ambassador also highlighted the ongoing fight for freedom in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), expressing Pakistan’s continued backing for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination. He encouraged global advocacy for Kashmiri freedom.



Ambassador Nizamani called upon embassy personnel to dedicate themselves to strengthening Pakistan. Messages from President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif, and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar were also shared.
