Islamabad: The Pakistan-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group (PFG) convened a briefing session featuring presentations from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Commerce. The session concentrated on fortifying bilateral relations, promoting trade and investment opportunities, and exploring new avenues for cooperation between the two nations.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the briefing was attended by Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) including Mir Khan Muhammad Jamali, Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, Zahra Wadood Fatemi, and Sardar Muhammad Latif Khan Khosa. Syed Raza Ali Gillani, MNA and Convener of the Pakistan-Azerbaijan PFG, chaired the session. Other attendees, such as Shaista Pervaiz Malik and Romina Khurshid Alam, participated virtually.
The discussions during the session underscored the importance of enhancing economic ties and fostering mutual understanding between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. The presentations highlighted potential sectors for collaboration and ways to strengthen diplomatic and trade relations.
