Islamabad: The Pakistan Army’s team has clinched a gold medal at the Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2024, demonstrating exceptional skills and endurance in one of the world’s most challenging military exercises. Held in Wales, UK, from October 4-13, this year marked the 65th anniversary of the annual event.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, the Exercise Cambrian Patrol drew 128 teams from 42 countries, each tasked with navigating through harsh terrain, covering a distance of 60 kilometers within 48 hours, and completing various specialist tasks in a highly competitive and adversarial environment. The Pakistan Army’s team distinguished itself with superior performance, securing the top honor in a field of international military units.
This achievement is celebrated as a significant national triumph and underscores the Pakistan Army’s commitment to maintaining high training standards and professionalism. The recognition at such a prestigious international level highlights the dedication and expertise of Pakistan’s armed forces.
