Pakistan Army Targets Afghan Taliban Posts in Zhob Sector Amid Retaliatory Strikes

Zhob: Pakistan’s Armed forces are intensifying their retaliatory strikes against the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij, continuing under the banner of Operation Ghazab Lil Haq. The military operations have focused on strategic locations along the Pak-Afghan border, aiming to disrupt militant activities in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistan Army has specifically targeted Afghan Taliban positions in the Zhob sector. This precise military action prompted the Taliban forces to abandon their posts and weapons, marking a significant setback for the group.

In a noteworthy development, the Army seized Russian-made 73 mm HGL-9 heavy grenade launchers from positions previously held by the Afghan Taliban. Furthermore, an Afghan Taliban post adjacent to Shawal in North Waziristan was destroyed, further demonstrating the Pakistan Army’s commitment to neutralizing threats along its border.

These operations underscore ongoing efforts by Pakistan’s military to stabilize the region and counteract insurgent threats.
