Islamabad, The Pakistan Army conducted a successful training launch of the Fatah-II Guided Rocket System, which has a range of 400 kilometers. The exercise aimed to refine the rocket’s launch drills and procedures, significantly enhancing the Army’s capability in precision engagement of distant targets.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, the Fatah-II rocket is equipped with an advanced navigation system, unique trajectory, and maneuverable features, allowing it to engage targets with high precision and effectively counter missile defenses. This induction into Pakistan’s Artillery Divisions marks a substantial upgrade in the reach and lethality of the nation’s conventional arsenal. The flight test was observed by the Chief of the General Staff of the Pakistan Army, senior officers from the three services, and the scientists and engineers involved in the development of the rocket system.
