Islamabad: The Pakistan Army recently organized free medical camps in the remote areas of the Line of Control, offering essential healthcare services to the communities in Rakh Chakdi and Dharra Khas of Tehsil Mumtazabad. The initiative provided medical and eye care to thousands of residents at no cost.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the medical camps saw participation from Army doctors and specialists from Al-Shifa Eye Hospital. A total of one thousand patients received treatment in Rakh Chakdi, while fifteen hundred were treated in Dharra Khas. The effort was well-received by the local populations, who expressed gratitude for the healthcare services made accessible in their communities.
This healthcare outreach by the Pakistan Army highlights its ongoing commitment to assist civilian populations in less accessible areas, ensuring that even the most remote communities receive necessary medical attention.
