In anticipation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of Government Meeting set for the 15th and 16th of this month, the Pakistan Army has been deployed throughout the federal capital to bolster security. According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the deployment, sanctioned under Article 245 of the Constitution, aims to safeguard the public and infrastructure from any potential disruptions during the event. Army personnel have already commenced patrols in crucial parts of the city, ensuring a secure environment for the international gathering.
