ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani expressed satisfaction over the successful test launch of the Fatah-II Extended-Range Missile by the Pakistan Army, highlighting it as a significant development in strengthening the nation’s defense capabilities and safeguarding its security. He extended congratulations to the officers of the Pakistan Army, scientists, and engineers involved in the project.

According to Senate of Pakistan, the Chairman emphasized the necessity of advancements in modern defense technology, scientific research, and indigenous research and development to enhance Pakistan’s defense preparedness and achieve self-reliance in the sector. He acknowledged the professional expertise and contributions of the Commander of the Army Rocket Force Command, along with senior military officers, scientists, and engineers.

Gilani affirmed that the Armed Forces of Pakistan play a crucial role in protecting the nation’s sovereignty and maintaining regional security.
