Srinagar, April 30, 2023 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) senior vice chairman Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar has said that Pakistan army chief’s reaffirmation of unwavering, unflinching and all-out support to the just freedom struggle will further solidify the resolve of the Kashmiris.
Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar said the statement of General Syed Asim Munir is a source of strength and encouragement for valiant Kashmiris fighting Indian tyranny with great zeal and determination.
He said Pakistan is the benefactor and ambassador of Kashmiris and it has stood by Kashmiris like a solid rock in all odds. The recent statements of the Chief of Army Staff and Prime Minister are a loud and clear message to the Kashmiris that Pakistan will never abandon them come what may, he added.
Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar said Kashmiris are praying for the development and prosperity of Pakistan as strong Pakistan is guarantee to the success of Kashmir freedom movement. It has again proved that hearts of Kashmiris and Pakistanis throb in unison, he maintained.
He said Kashmiris and Pakistanis are tied in strong and eternal religious, cultural and geographical bonds and Pakistan will never leave Kashmiris at the mercy of Hindutva goons who are hell bent to uproot and wipe them out.
Kashmiris, he said, are grateful for intense diplomatic efforts which Pakistan is making to highlight the Kashmir cause at international level, adding Pakistan is the only hope of Kashmiris and Kashmiris hope that it will never disappoint them.
Meanwhile, APHC leaders, including Abdul Ahad Parra, Muhammad Saleem Zargar, Yasmeen Raja, Dr Musaib, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Israr Ahmad, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League in their statements issued in Srinagar lauded Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir’s statement in support of Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle for right to self-determination.
The Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman, Altaf Ahmed Butt, in a statement in Islamabad appreciated the stance of Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir on Kashmir dispute.
He commended General Asim Munir for his strong commitment to the Kashmir cause and his resolute support for the rights and aspirations of the Kashmiri people and called upon the international community to play an active role in facilitating a just and lasting settlement of the lingering dispute.
