Pakistan Armed Forces Win Five Medals at World Military Cadet Games in Caracas


Caracas: The 4th CISM World Military Cadet Games, a significant international event featuring young military athletes, took place in Caracas, Venezuela, from August 16 to 22, 2024. This year’s games saw the participation of the Pakistan Armed Forces, which competed in track, field, and shooting events.



According to Inter Services Public Relations, the Pakistan Armed Forces tri-services team achieved notable success, securing five medals in total. Chief Warrant Officer Mueed Bloch of the Pakistan Air Force clinched a gold medal in the 400m race and a silver medal in the 200m race. Sep Muhammad Akhtar of the Pakistan Army earned a bronze in the 5000m race and a silver in the 10000m race. Additionally, in the 25 Meter pistol shooting rapid team events category, Nk Qasim Bilal, Sepoy Ismail Khan, and Sepoy Muhammad Rashid of the Pakistan Army secured a silver medal.



The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee along with all Services Chiefs extended their heartfelt congratulations to the team for their outstanding achievements during the games.
