Pakistan Armed Forces Reaffirm Support for Kashmir Amid Human Rights Concerns


Islamabad: On Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Pakistan Armed Forces have reiterated their support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in their quest for self-determination. This message comes as part of a broader call for international intervention regarding human rights violations in the region.



According to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, the Service Chiefs, and the Pakistan Armed Forces paid tribute to the resilience of the Kashmiri people. The statement highlighted the community’s endurance in the face of longstanding oppression and state-sponsored brutality.



The Pakistan Armed Forces condemned the continuing human rights violations in IIOJK, which include extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, and arbitrary detentions. They criticized India’s actions as a violation of international law and fundamental human rights.



The statement urged the international community and organizations like the United Nations to take urgent action to address these issues. It called for the implementation of United Nations Security Council resolutions to align with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.



The Pakistan Armed Forces emphasized their commitment to supporting the cause of Kashmir and ensuring the protection of Pakistan’s sovereignty. The statement concluded with a pledge of solidarity with the Kashmiri people in their pursuit of freedom and dignity.
