Islamabad: The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training of Pakistan, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, held a meeting with Dr. Ali Alabab, the Deputy Minister for Education of Yemen, to discuss educational cooperation between the two countries. The meeting, attended by Yemen’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Mohammed Motahar Alashabi, and Additional Secretary Education, Mr. Hassan Saqlain, focused on exploring collaborative opportunities in the education sector.
According to a statement by Press Information Department, Minister Siddiqui expressed support for the Yemeni delegation’s visit, underscoring the successful conclusion of the International Conference on Girl’s Education as a significant achievement for Muslim countries. He emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between Yemen and Pakistan, particularly in the field of education.
Minister Siddiqui highlighted the shared challenges faced by both nations due to terrorism and recognized education as a pivotal element for national progress. He advocated for collaboration in areas of mutual interest, emphasizing the need for unity among Muslim nations for collective advancement.
