Islamabad, Pakistan and Uzbekistan have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing their partnership, focusing on mutual strengths to drive regional growth and prosperity. This pledge was made during a high-level meeting between the two nations in Islamabad.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting occurred between Caretaker Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Dr. Jamshid Khodjaev Abdukhakomovich. The discussions centered on expanding bilateral relations in various sectors, including finance, revenue, and broader economic strategies. This engagement highlights the ongoing efforts of both countries to collaborate closely for the benefit of the region.
