Pakistan and US Commit to Deepening Ties in Trade, Technology, and Climate Initiatives


New York: In a reaffirmation of bilateral ties, Pakistan and the United States have pledged to enhance cooperation across several significant areas, including trade, investment, technology, and climate action. This commitment was highlighted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a statement following a reception in New York, which was part of the ongoing United Nations General Assembly session.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif used his X social media platform to reflect on the positive interactions at the event hosted by US President Joe Biden, which was attended by various global leaders. He noted his interactions with President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden as “warm and cordial,” underscoring a shared eagerness to strengthen bilateral relations.



The discussions at the reception centered around mutual interests that span economic, technological, and environmental cooperation, reflecting a broad agenda that aligns with global challenges and opportunities.
