Abu Dhabi, In a significant meeting aimed at bolstering economic relations, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi of Pakistan met with Abdulla Mohamed Al Mazrui, Chairman of the UAE Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The discussion focused on enhancing trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Tirmizi extended an invitation to the Chairman and members of the UAE business community to participate in the upcoming Pakistan’s Food and Agriculture Exhibition (Footage 2024), scheduled from 9-11 August 2024 at the Expo Centre in Karachi. This event is seen as a pivotal platform for showcasing the agricultural capabilities and potential of Pakistan to international investors and businesses.
The Chairman of the FCCI expressed the UAE’s support for strengthening economic and business linkages with Pakistan. He confirmed that the Federation would explore the possibility of sending a delegation from various UAE Chambers of Commerce to participate in the Karachi exhibition, highlighting the commitment to fostering closer ties between the two nations through mutual economic and trade engagements.
