Pakistan and UAE Set to Enhance Bilateral Ties at Joint Ministerial Commission


Abu Dhabi: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, will lead a delegation to the 12th session of the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) in Abu Dhabi on June 24, 2025. The JMC is the highest platform for bilateral cooperation between the two nations.



The session aims to deepen strategic, economic, and development ties between Pakistan and the UAE. Senator Dar’s delegation will include senior officials from various ministries, such as Economic Affairs, Commerce, Energy, Maritime Affairs, and Interior.



The UAE delegation will be led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with representatives from key Emirati institutions.



Discussions will focus on reviewing progress in bilateral cooperation and exploring new collaboration opportunities in areas like trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, and IT. The session is expected to finalize several legal instruments to formalize sectoral cooperation.



The meeting will provide both countries an opportunity to align economic priorities and explore ways to enhance their partnership for mutual benefit.
