Pakistan and UAE Discuss Bilateral Ties in Abu Dhabi


Abu Dhabi: Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates conducted the second round of Bilateral Political Consultations in Abu Dhabi, marking a continuation of their dialogue aimed at strengthening cooperation across various sectors.



The session, held on June 25, was led by Shehryar Akbar Khan, Pakistan’s Additional Foreign Secretary for the Middle East, and Reem Ketait, UAE’s Deputy Assistant Minister for Political Affairs.



The meeting provided both nations an opportunity to review their bilateral relations, discuss regional and global issues of mutual interest, and affirm their commitment to enhanced collaboration at multilateral forums.



Khan emphasized the importance of deepening the strong ties between the two nations, which are built on shared values and mutual respect. Both parties acknowledged the positive progress made under existing frameworks like the Joint Ministerial Commission and regular high-level engagements.



The consultations concluded with an agreement to maintain the momentum of their interactions, with plans to hold the next round of talks in Islamabad on dates to be decided mutually.
