Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, held a meeting focusing on strengthening Pakistan-U.S. bilateral relations in trade, investment, and economic cooperation.

According to Press Information Department, the discussions underscored the importance of the Pakistan-U.S. partnership, emphasizing the United States’ role as Pakistan’s largest trading partner and export destination. Both parties agreed to enhance economic diplomacy and explore new opportunities for joint business ventures and collaborations. Given the positive macroeconomic developments in Pakistan, including improved economic indicators and stability, the officials aimed to promote investment opportunities, particularly engaging the Pakistani diaspora. The meeting also resolved to provide regular updates on macroeconomic data to stakeholders and the diaspora in the U.S. to foster investment in Pakistan’s economy.
