Pakistan and Turkiye Strengthen Ties in Counter-Terrorism and Civil Forces

Islamabad: Pakistan and Turkiye have decided to strengthen their collaboration in the fields of counter-terrorism, police, and civil armed forces, following a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Turkish Ambassador Dr. Mehmet Pacaci. The two nations also plan to increase the number of flights between them, aiming to enhance mutual connectivity and cooperation.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting led to Turkiye offering full cooperation in Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed appreciation for Turkiye’s support and reiterated Pakistan’s readiness to welcome such collaborative initiatives.

This agreement signifies a continued effort by both countries to build on their existing relations by focusing on security enhancements and improving bilateral transport links, which are expected to facilitate easier movement and foster stronger ties between the two nations.
